Who are these no complaints people? Consider what happens when you, we or anybody complains about something. It immediately begins a negative mind-set. And a negative mind is counter-productive to any healing process. It creates an “I can’t” or “I have a problem” in your subconscious mind that has a diminishing effect on your well being. When you complain, you relinquish a substantial measure of your power to be self- sufficient…and in doing so, your power to take positive steps to improve your life are diminished. Have you ever read a book, story, report, survey or article titled “The Power of the Negative Mind? On the other hand, there are countless testimonials about the Power of Positive Thinking. There is enormous power in always looking at anything in a positive way. Don’t even think about complaining…but if you do think about complaining, keep it to yourself. Then, ask yourself what you can do to eliminate the thing you wanted to complain about. You will be surprised to find your mind working in a positive and creative manner, and will produce results that far surpass what would have happened if you had complained. We all know people who love to complain about the government, their job, or any negative thinking that pops up at that particular moment. Fun people to be around, huh? We suggest you try to avoid being around people who like to be miserable. But when you do happen to be in their presence, just smile and look in another direction…and say to yourself, “I’m sure glad I don’t have any complaints”. You will feel good about yourself…and when this happens, you do good things…and it doesn’t cost you a dime. We at The Universal Healing Hand have adopted a philosophy of consciously trying not to complain about anything…period. When you think about it, what good does it do? Now, there is certainly nothing wrong with pointing out a problem to someone who has the ability to help correct that problem…but that is not complaining. When you do identify a particular problem, always try to offer a solution that you think will help fix it. You have retained your positive mind-set and there are usually very good things that come about from being a part of the solution. Action Plan…So, see how long you can go without complaining. Set up some kind of personal reward system for each day that you do not utter a complaint. Now we’re talkin’ happiness!
